Christine brings a unique combination of professional experience in education, personal experience as a parent, and a strong passion for creating inclusive communities.
In her role, Christine will focus on developing partnerships and collaboration opportunities that help Nouri’s Place grow into a vibrant resource for socialization, education, friendship, and connection for people of all abilities.
Christine is a mother of six children, ranging in age from 10 to 23. Her personal journey as a parent, including raising her son Judah, who is AuDHD, has played an important role in shaping her passion for creating spaces where every person feels safe, accepted, supported, and empowered to grow.
She brings an extensive background in education, holding Pennsylvania certifications in elementary education, middle-level English Language Arts, and middle-level social studies, as well as a Master’s of Education in Distance Learning. Christine began her career teaching in Harrisburg City Schools and later spent 17 years as an online educator, working with students and families in a variety of learning environments. As Program Director, Christine looks forward to connecting with the individuals and families who visit Nouri’s Place, as well as building relationships throughout the broader community through events, programs, and partnerships. Her vision is to help create a space where people of all abilities can connect, build friendships, learn, grow, and simply feel like they belong. If you’re interested in partnering with Nouri’s Place, sharing an idea, or finding a way to get involved, Christine would love to hear from you. Christine@nourisplace.org
